Weekly Meetings

Our main meetings are held on Tuesday evening at Darwin Lecture Theatre 3 (DLT3) at 7:30pm. Although they differ from week to week, we do have a loose structure:

We tend to start with a time of worship (an opportunity to spend some time with God not necessarily but often in song) these worship times are led by student worship leaders, we also spend time in prayer, and then we invite various speakers to come to the front to encourage us with teaching from the Bible.
We also hope it is fun!

We really strongly believe that the CU is not a church alternative - it is a student run mission team! Creating and empowering students to reach out and share Jesus with those around them!

"The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." Luke 10:2

A usual evening meeting will consist of about 20 minutes of praise and worship to God. Some weeks people will share a testimony of how God has impacted their lives recently; there will also be updates and info about future events. The main feature of the evening is the talk! This is aimed to encourage and equip you in your relationship with Jesus and take you further with Him.

"But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life." John 4:14

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7

So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord.
